R&B quartet, Raquel, Natalie, Dolly and Nadine, aka IV Rox, teamed up with Grime artist Stormzy recently for a track called ‘Badder Than A Mother’ which is taken from their new EP ‘Imperfections’. The lyrics depict the relationship between a woman and her man, each knowing what their business is, and even though the guy may have a hard-edged exterior and street mentality, by handling his business, the man is still good to his girl, providing for her and putting her first. The girls combine their marvelous singing vocals to harmonize simultaneously, on the chorus, vocalizing beautifully on the thudding beat which is a mix of Hip Hop and R&B. Stormzy adds a more urban vibe to the track, with an energetic rap verse, over the tune which also features enchanting adlibs from IV Rox.
