Grime MC and Family Tree affiliate MIK gets set to unleash his brand new album at the start of December this year, called ‘Ghost Writer’. The release features artists from Family Tree including Ego and Merky Ace as well as the likes of Trilla, Footsie, Flava D, Kozzie, Devilman Ten Dixon, Starkey, and much more, with production credits going to the likes Footsie, K1, Thomas Mellor and plenty more. The sound of the album is fully Grime with the influence of Trap and heavy 808 bass, with a bit of UK Garage bassline and Hip Hop creeping in, and from the snippets which you can hear below. MIK goes ham on most of the tracks with ferocious lyrical fire, hot flows and delivery, some of my favourites and stand out tracks being Cash In Hand, New Ting, Narda featuring Footsie and Merky Ace and Hear What.
