Soul Session is Moony’s first solo release of 2013. Although generally considered a Grime & Garage producer/DJ, Moony has never been afraid to experiment with different genres or tempos and this EP is no exception. It consists of 4 original tracks ranging from 124-130 BPM, whilst this is a drop in tempo compared to his usual production’s it still maintains an upfront, danceable energy through out. As the title suggests this release is melodic and soulful and some how manages to sound fresh and current whilst at the same time giving a nostalgic nod to Speed Garage and the early 4×4 tracks that inspired the producer as a youngster.
