After spending 8 years in Switzerland, London resident and talented singer Nzilani is soon to release her debut pop anthem ‘Never Be’, recorded at Europe’s largest studio Metropolis. The lyrics on Never Be are all about Nzilani not being pigeon-holed or compared to other artists, not conforming to the expected look or image of the celebrity world. Nzilani delivers powerful vocals with a pop-driven vibe, the chorus is uplifting and reflecting of the production, which is laden with beating drums, percussion and an anthemic, worldly melody. No surprise then that her idols are Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson. Nzilani has been involved in musical theatre and the acting world since the age of four, having starred as Motormouth Maybell in Hairspray and even appearing in two Peppa Pig episodes. Recording the forthcoming single at the world renowned Metropolis Studios, ‘Never Be’ will be released on M:89 Records on 6th May 2016, and could well be the launch-pad for her career.
