P Money releases his latest project for free download, ‘I BEAT THE TUNE 2’, which features six Grime hitters with features from OGz members including Jendor, Little Dee, and production from Splurgeboys, Rude Kid and Rapid. The mixtape features P Money’s own remix of Chip’s Rapid-produced ‘Pepper Riddim’, as well as ‘Left The Room 2’, both on which he goes ham at those bouncing indirects around the scene of late, the former seeing him deliver an onslaught of witty punchlines, having no time for violations as he practically take the piss out of other mc’s with dozens of pars. ‘Left The Room’ has P Money revive the catchy hook just like the previous instalment, and could be seen as a diss towards the likes of Big H, as he goes hammer and tongs at keyboard warriors and internet gangstas. P Money also revives old school flows from like ’05 or ’06. shelling a energetic jangling Grime instrumental with skippy, rapid flows, parring those with inferior flows to himself, emphasizing his towering presence in the scene in having competitors running from war, and comes across as money motivated. Little Dee and Jendor join P Money on a remix of Fekky’s ‘Ain’t Nobody’, a hard Trap banger, with Fekky delivering the infectious hook, as they spit bars that highlight that nobody is moving like them in the music scene, with Little Dee spraying bars in which he comes across as self-centered as does Jendor, not giving an eff about those don’t give an eff for them. P Money then goes on to collaborate with producers Splurgeboys on a remix of Krept and Konan’s DWMT, a dutty, bass-laden Grime refix in which P Money executes amazing flow on the beat which he sticks to perfectly, as he distances himself from other rappers who may not be as smart minded as him, with emphasis on family values, concentrating on making the coldest music rather than proving his street credentials, yet warning those who wanna beef him that he isn’t past action. P Money absolutely smashes the DWMT remix, so don’t worry P, I would go as far as to say you outclassed Splurgeboys on their own track which you finally have. The final track, ‘Pistols At Dawn’, is a mix of ambient, echoing percussion and starting out mellow, kicks in to a speedy, energetic Drum and Bass instrumental, with a rhythmic, bouncy synthesized melody, with the hook having the euphoria and feel of a live show, remixing Seinabo Say’s track, keeping her vocals in the chorus, with P Money rhyming about living for music, wanting to make money and forget about the violence that comes with reality, This one is one for the ravers, with simplistic rhymes yet with a deep message. Overall, P Money is back with another great release, second to none with his wordplay and killer punchlines, his flows are on point every time whether its Grime, Trap, or Drum and Bass.
