North London artists Poppy and Ekeno team up for another collaboration, ‘On My Grizzy’ produced by GottiOnEm, with the music video directed by Ade OG and Hakeem Boakye. The two musicians take to a rhythmic trap beat, Ekeno providing melodic singing vocals on the hook, as Poppy drops rhymes on the beat, the lyrics illustrating the paper chase and the constant grind that they both are on. Poppy also addresses fake thugs and haters alike who hate on the success of them. Poppy’s flow is relaxed on the track as he rhymes about his riches and occasions when he’s either rolling up a spliff or chilling with his lady. The music video incorporates some electrifying animation in certain places to coincide with the Poppy and Ekeno’s performance, and is filmed in various locations including the booth.
