North West London Rappers Porcz and Dpart released a brand new track via soundcloud recently, entitled “Why’d You Only Call Me (When You’re High)”, and is a remix of the Arctic Monkeys track of the same name, remixed and produced by Session600. Taking the original Rock production and twisting it in to a funky, hard-hitting Hip Hop banger, both artists rhyme about a woman who only calls them up when it suits them, using their womanising ways only when they’re high, Dpart questioning if his lady really loves him, preferring not to waste his time with her. Both emcee’s have perfect flows, Porcz has a heavy hitting, swinging flow, bobbing and weaving throughout his verse, whilst Dpart’s meandering flow features him switching it up. Banging track from the duo, something completely different for the Hip Hop heads which stands out from the Trap that is overrunning UK Rap Scene now.
