UK Urban music collective Pound teamed up with link up TV to bring you this slick visual advert for the groups forthcoming debut release. The teaser track featuring two of the collective, one singer and a rapper sees them run artistically ragged over the infamous Gotye – Somebody I Used To Know instrumental. The duo go with a crazy flow, sticking to their new motto/trend #TeamWeirdo and lacing the melodic back drop with some off the wall Odd Future esque rhyme styles. The sing song flow of the pair is an ingenius reworking of a familiar song, adding another dimension to the track. Pound make the remix an infectiously intriguing affair, matching the dark, kind of mysterious visuals perfectly. Good to hear artists in rap being creative, lacing tracks with original killer hooks and simply having fun with music again.
