South London BadSide MC Proton returned to SBTV once again with a music video for his new banger entitled ‘Hobby’. Proton lays down fierce flows over a dark, piercing Trap instrumental produced by himself, possessing a few different styles on this tune, at first seeming crazy as he boasts of being a threat to the scene and changing up his sweet boy image. Proton snaps back in to serious mode as he reveals his plans to make big bucks from the music industry, and brags about a lavish lifestyle, and asserting his position above most of the competition. Proton bulldozes on to the track with authority and in a bullish mode towards any of his rivals, as he decimates the beat with energetic delivery, and those adlibs are nuts. The visuals by Pesh feature grainy effects along with lighting streaks and swift cuts, the visuals all filmed at night giving a dark look.
