RD, son of legendary junglist MC Deman Rockers of The Ragga Twins releases his latest track which just so happens to feature the duo. RD, even though considered royalty, nevertheless doesn’t live in his father’s shadow of success by any accounts, building a name for himself as an accomplished MC in the junglist/hip hop/grime scene. For this track entitled “Family Business”, taken from RD’s new mixtape out soon called “Strength and Patience”, the Ragga Twins join RD on Rudekid’s “End Level”, as RD spits bars depicting the rich family history, as well as his musical heritage, dropping big bars overall on the dutty instrumental. Deman and Flinty Badman bring some Ragga to the Grime track, with them continuing the theme family ties, backing and tipping their son/nephew for success as well as just dropping lethal bars and flows, sending warning shots to anyone who wanna ramp with them. Hook-wise, the twins lay down a full onslaught of hype, sticking with the vigorous Ragga style, strengthening the track in my opinion. This track highlights the strong family tree and unity which exists here, with the backing of two of the UK’s most influential Dancehall artists stamping their mark of approval and the skills that radiate, RD will be one to watch!
