Redro Killson aka Sherman Isley and LilFred HG520 come together for #RNSVol2, which also features guest artists Yg Matt and T Smoke. Listening and following The GxD directions to make the album, Redro and co are determined to lead Arizona , more specifically Casa Grande’s, music scene in terms of work rate. The album features lead singles like ‘Prodigy’ featuring Redro and LilFred, both spitting on a trickling piano-led melody and bass-heavy trap beat, the lyrics conveying them as two prodigies that will inevitably plant the money tree for their lil ones. Redro, known for his low harmonious singing style, is particularly impressive as he delivers an assault of rap bars. T Smoke and Yg Matt feature on tracks like ‘Kush Klouds’ and ‘Mash Something’ respectively. Kush Klouds features a chopped and screwed hook on a track which depicts a lifestyle in which they turn up with their team, smoking the loud and drinking. The two rappers, LilFred and T Smoke deliver laid back flows on the rhythmic trap production. ‘Mash Something’ sees LilFred and Yg Matt spit on a plucky, West Coast style groove, chronicling what the two rappers get up to when coasting. LilFred himself has a couple of heavy hitters, most notably, ‘Pull-Up’, on which he boasts of getting the money and smoking weed recreationally whilst chilling with a bad bxtch. No Redro Killson release is complete without his soulful input, with ‘GoKrazy’, a sauntering R&B vibe on which Sherman sings to his love interest, full of confidence in his ability to make the girls go krazy with his voice alone, as well as delving in to his past with females. Another great track from Sherman is ‘Tyrese’, which samples Tyrese’s ‘Sweet Lady’, as Redro and LilFred roll back the years, spitting lyrics that convey their bad side in the hope of getting their woman by any means. In my opinion, this a great introduction to some upcoming talented rappers, LilFred HG520, Yg Matt and T Smoke, as well as adding to Redro’s extensive catalogue of music.
