Combating the lack of equally cool and safe spaces in London for people to regularly indulge in a night filled with the gritty beats and bass of grime, BBC 1Xtra’s Sian Anderson joins forces with Tazer Black, the mastermind behind one of London’s hottest club night nights FADED to present their monthly club night JACK’EM at the infamous London hot spot Visions. The night debuts on April 28th with grime’s freshest deck masters including A.G (NTS Radio), Jack Dat and Alia Loren (Radar Radio), OH91 (Coyote Records), Sian Anderson herself and a special guest DJ.

THE SHELLERS

In a matter of months Radar Radio presenter and grime DJ Alia Loren has made a name for herself in the thriving grime scene. Having already done sets with the likes of Complex UK, Prez T, P Money and more, Alia’s one of a kind selection of gritty vibes has seen take to the decks at clubs such as Amy Becker’s Acrylic set in Dalston’s infamous Birthdays.

Coming straight from the Coyote Records camp, Bristol based Producer and DJ OH91 has built a reputation for producing flawless grime infused beats and tearing the stage behind the decks. His career has seen him shut down crowds at the BBC Radio 6 Festival and Boiler Room to name a few.

Known for never spinning a tune more than once, Radar Radio’s Jack Dat is quickly becoming the go-to-DJ for unique blends of rare 140 BPM gems. With a track record that has seen him listed amongst Complex UK’s ‘Ones To Watch’ and support the likes of Skepta, P Money, and Joker, the North London native has positioned himself as one of the most sought after DJs on the rise.

With years of experience behind the decks, A.G’s unquestionable skills both on air at NTS Live and in the clubs has led her to earn her stripes as one of the most talented DJs in the scene. Her distinctive style has seen her featured on Rinse FM alongside lyrical heavyweight P Money, as well as Complex UK, and in sets with the likes of MTP and Family Tree.

Serving us weekly doses of unforgettable moments in grime on her weekly show, BBC 1Xtra’s Sian Anderson reminds us time and time again of why she comfortably sits amongst the ultimate deck masters of our time. Her ability to sway any crowd has taken her across the country and even across the globe with her past shows including Croatia’s Fresh Island Fest, Shorebitch and more.
