Staxxy – 28.11.14 (Promo Video) – Build TV

Staxxy

UK Hip Hop artist Staxxy teamed up with Build TV recently to host visuals by A6 Films for a brand new track, simply entitled ‘28.11.14’, the date of his latest release, mixtape ‘#Boombox’. The instrumental which is produced by Luke White is a boo-bap style Hip Hop beat which is reminiscent of production by golden age producers like DJ Premiere and the likes of. The overall theme for the track is the lack of support that Staxxy receives, as he opens up about the friends that are no longer around, Staxxy realising that he has to stand on his own. Staxxy also rhymes about his problems which he keeps to himself, feeling like no one cares for him, those that turned on him. Above all, Staxxy’s bars depict and convey his ambitions and drive, grind away to make his dreams come true, not giving up on music, at one point, feeling like he has to run up and rob someone’s career, feeling like he has been kept down too long. And emphasises that his team have been putting in work and deserve the support. The hook is incredibly wrote, which only proves Staxxy’s song craft skills, and as for his flow, delivery and rhyme skills, his lyrical ability is in no doubt, and he vigorously delivers his bars with such conviction. Check out the superb Hip Hop beat, Staxxy keeping it real in his lyrics, and leave us your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below . . .
