Stogey is the first big Grime act to come out of East Sussex (Eastbourne), and has revealed his new grime wave with new track ‘V.I.P’, which is “overflowing with bars and flows”. The first signing to East London Grime veteran D Power’s EB Records (EBR), this is the introduction single to Stogey, and is available for digital release from 13 January 2017 from all major download stores. Produced by Audio Slugs, V.I.P is a heavyweight, bass trembling and melodic riddim with an anthemic sound, that fuses old school grime vibes but with an edge of trap. Stogey flows with energy and with such precision, delivering his bars with clarity, and he tops off the tune with an anthemic hook that may well be infectious to the ear. The stylish music video is directed by Shan Brown and is a perfect combo along with the catchy smash grime tune.
