Stormin ft. Bushkin | Berlin [Music Video]: SBTV
Grime legend Stormin and UK Garage pioneer Bushkin team up with SBTV to bring you the video for their epic reworking of a classic 2step Garage dance banger, modernising a seemingly timeless track, giving it an alternate lease of life as a moody darkened bassy trap/Grime smash. Stormin and Buskin take Mystic Matt and the Ant’ill Mob‘s masterpiece “Burnin” and give it a new vibe with their wheel up bars on the track. Stormin kicks off proceedings with a sort of mic tribute, emphasising the words at the end of each bar in an old skool garage MC style. Bushkin rips the second half of the tune, remixing one of his classic HLC rhymes, dropping vocal props to fellow industry heads with the odd line and generally rinsin out the ridddim. The chorus delivered in anthemic style by Stormin, (an ode to classic Heartless Crew crisp biscuit sessions), keeps the heat burning on the song, making it a scorcher for the summer that new skool and old skool fans will enjoy in a rave, ride or yard. The video looks fun, filmed in a club, in an drop top car and in the VIP, with cameo apperances aplenty (one wavy English Frank), matching the wild party feel of the track. Big tune!
