The Figo of UK Rap, Tayfun, completes a hat-trick of music videos on GRM Daily with his latest single ‘100 Kilos’, another motion picture presented by Frankincense & Myrrh and directed by Teeeezy C. Produced by SLVNG MAJOR with the rich, Turkish sounds of the Saz guitar played by Tayfun, this is a trap banger drawing from many influences, with the lyrics from the rapper that boast of the weight he carries, even down to his name. Tayfun continues his story in this completion of a trilogy of videos, but there is no reason why he shouldn’t or wouldn’t continue to release more. But the three videos explore a different culture, from the perspective of Tayfun, who had a different upbringing to his contemporaries in the UK Rap scene, but with the same goals and mission. Musically and stylistically, Tayfun delivers grandioso music and motion pictures with his team, showing that he is playing to win. We expect much more from Tayfun, he is definitely one to watch from now and beyond well in to 2018.
