South London Grime emcee Ten Dixon is no newcomer to the scene, however, his latest offering ‘Virgo Feelings’, is a introduction to a different version of Dixon. Taken from his new forthcoming album ‘Intensive Self Observation’, or simply ISO, ‘Virgo Feelings’ is a hard-hitting track produced by Danio (Husky Loops), opening with a short prologue before kicking into an intense electronic, trapesque, Hip-Hop style beat, with Dixon tuning into the emotions evoked to deliver a poignant collection of thoughts from himself as a Virgo. Ten Dixon’s lyrics are raw and introspective, assessing the direction he is heading in his personal life and as a creative, exposing a new mantra of thinking, that is about attracting positive energy, working towards dreams and looking out for close friends and family.

‘Virgo Feelings’ arrives with visuals courtesy of Tom Ringsby, with each shot encapsulating the meaning behind the profound lyrics. Ten Dixon combines his undeniable talent with other creatives such as producer Danio and Tom Ringsby, to produce what is a genuine, passionate and sincere body of work, and we look forward to the album which should be a masterpiece.

Ten Dixon himself has come far, perfecting his craft over the years, especially in the Grime scene, and has made appearances on Lord of the Mics, as well as receiving praise from the likes of Sir Spyro on BBC 1Xtra. Not necessarily a new gen, more considered a Grime Original to his loyal supporters, Ten Dixon was part of an era that birthed the likes of Jon E Clayface, Maxsta, Kid Bookie, Saskilla, Jamkvy and Scrufizzer to name a few. His musical style is very much distinctive and reflects his own individuality, can be conscious at times and definitely multifaceted. Dixon came up with Grime collective W.A.V.E Gang, and most recently joined Nasty Bros, a new collective made up of veterans and up and comers, specializing in UK Funky, but also prominent in Garage, Grime, DnB, Dubstep and Bass scenes. Led by Marcus Nasty, Mak 10, Scar Duggy, DJ Play, Madusa and DTM make up the DJ’/Producer’s, with the emcee’s including Shantie, Mic Man Frost, Dizzle Kid, Shaydee, Nutcracka, Slowie, Miz and Ten Dixon himself. Ten Dixon can also boast not one but two features on Wiley’s 2019 Grime release ‘Godfather III’.
