Family Tree are becoming quite the regulars on Sir Spyro’s Rinse FM show The Grime Show, with the latest show featuring Family Tree’s Merky Ace and TKO alongside Canadian Grime artist Tre Mission. The trio showcase why they are the go-to artists for shelling down sets with yet more hype bars over some booming bass and Trap and Grime instrumentals. Flows were precise and meandering, the likes of Tre Mission spitting some cheeky lyricism, Merky Ace adding yet another dimension to the session with some gully lines and TKO had some skills on the mic too. The energy was high in the building with all three MC’s rolling right through to the end, and Spyro killed it with the selection once again. Spyro talked to the Tre about what attracts him to the capital, as well as recent projects, and the trio’s long standing music collaboration.
