Lewisham-based Grime collective The Square linked up with No Hats No Hoods for a new music video their latest banger called ‘Lewisham McDeez’. The mc’s deliver a track which is linked to the exchange of words between Novelist and Izzie Gibbs in which Novelist dared him to meet up outside Lewisham McDeez, and on this tune, they spit gully bars over a lively grime instrumental, stating that they come from the roads and that it is where they do battle, warning others that if they come and clash them there they will get served up like the meat at McDeez or Burger King, and they make chickens, like KFC, out of certain inferior clashers. The mc’s featured go ham as they pepper the beat with hot bars, going in with energetic flow and one line flows at times. Check out the fun video which sees some dress up as the McDonalds Clown and the Burger King as well as fellow Grime MC Stormzy making a cameo appearance.
