Have you heard the song from the highly popular UK TV advertising campaign for Ribena? The one that scored a #1 slot on the UKM viral chart? That was Tigermonkey’s ‘Zooby Doo’ which now has mega awesome mix featuring Fatman Scoop, General Levy and Majestic. The three vocalists cause mayhem and bring energy to the bass-laden, electronic dance beat. This bouncy rhythmic riddim features fun, witty (but random!) lyrics from Majesti, wild ad libs from Fatman Scoop and tongue-twisting flows and Jamaican patois from General Levy. This track has had support from Shaggy (who has been Shazaming the track), and Tigermonkey and Majestic have been performing the track throughout their support slot on the Sigma UK tour, and at V Festival during a headline set. Tigermonkey (aka Guy Katsav) remains a mystery yet is popping up all over the place, in the most unusual places, a ‘fearless high-octane Gansta-Nerd’ who’s lyrics are bold with signature beats and music that crosses genres wth bouncy African rhythms and Middle-Eastern percussive beats, and don’t forget the undeniably catchy vocal hooks. Tigermonkey has already had his music featured in Mo Farrah’s charity track ‘Do The Mobot’, and he has worked with Laura Marling, David Guetta, and The Streets to name a few, which is an astounding list to be attached to.
