Multi-faceted artist, producer and engineer TomInTheChamber marks the close of summer with a brand new track entitled ‘Smooth Like Butter’, which sees him link up with Lagos’ Spiicey Beats and London born MBrown, to round it up with an Afrosoul R&B hit, which will warm us up through the colder seasons. ‘Smooth Like Butter’ is exactly that, a smooth, pleasurable combination of mellow, Jazz-infused tropical production, and fresh, infectious flows. The sensual lyrics are the focus of the single, where TomInTheChamber wanted to create a versatile vibe that not only makes the bedroom shake but can be blasted across the airwaves.

Born and bred in Bedford, Tom was initially inspired by his older brother to make his entrance into the music world, playing instruments before learning to produce, engineer and mix. He describes his sound as “Anything that emanates a feeling. Anything that resonates from the soul”.

Tom is unique and versatile, and is a frequent explorer of genres spanning Melodic Rap, Boom Bap, R&B, Afrobeats and Drum & Bass, and intriguingly categorizes a lot of his music as “New Age”.
