British Hip Hop Lads Too Many T’s have dropped the official video for their latest single ‘Sixty’s Ford’, the second taken from their debut album. Produced by Odjbox and Flux Pavilion, the track features the pair delivering outlandish rhymes and flowing effortlessly and with ease on the rhythmic, bass-laden, snare-tapping production. Leon ‘Rhymes’ Smith and Ross Standaloft spit fast-paced, wibble wobble, bouncy flows over the beat, a fusion of Hip Hop and Dancehall vibes, their lyrics brimming with fun and comical yet ludicrous and witty wordplay, both seeming not to care about who they may offend. The duo describe the h=journey they take the listener on as “a crazy adventure through beach, sea, forest, road and space – beginning and ending in a hotel.” The lyrical duo bring a fresh sound and style to the UK Hip Hop scene, but yet their live performances at Glastonbury, Bestival and Secret Garden Party, and even going on stage before the Beastie Boys (screening of ‘I Fuckin’ Shot That’ in Camden Market), proves that these two have the energy and stage presence to take their sound globally. The video see Leon and Ross transformed in to animated, cardboard cut-out puppets of themselves, controlled by their real selves, going on a trip from the beaches to the open roads, coming across girls, a hippie and a rocket!
