Dance producers DEVolution took to their soundcloud to release the audio for their official remix of the forthcoming Wiley single ‘You Know The Words’. DEVolution take the already 70’s soul/pop style funky track, chop up the vocal workings and give it an altogether “new” oldskool dance feel in the production. DEVolution put and 80’s slash early 90’s chicago house twist on the beats, using nostalgic, keys, percussion, sound effects and a delicious sung vocal lick to combine with Wiley’s rap quotable soundbites. DEVolution recapture the essence of “You Know The Words” for the dance floors, making a banger out of a previously cheeky lil vocal number. Big tune from very talented, versatile production team.
