Producer and Rapper Wize recently uploaded a set of new tracks he has recently produced, all remixes of US R&B tracks from Rihanna, Destiny’s Child, Jessie J and Madonna. Rihanna’s ‘We Ride’ as well as Destiny’s Child’s ‘Cater 2 U’ which both started out originally as soft, R&B productions, are given Trap makeovers, with ‘We Ride’ being the more hardcore, bass-rich of the two, featuring sampled vocals from Rihanna and tingling piano keys making up the melody. ‘Cater 2 U’ is even more of tingling melodious production, with a more rhythmic R&B vibe than the previous track, with Wize keeping the majority of the vocals including the hook in there. Wize then takes Jessie J’s ‘Wild’ and transforms it in to a dance club anthem, from the original bass heavy production to thumping, pounding, club beat, Wize also turns up Jessie’s vocals so as they are high pitched, and plays around chopping them up. The last track is ‘Celebration’ by Madonna, which Wize switches from a techno-dance production in to yet another pounding, bass heavy Trap production. With build ups at regular intervals. Wize transforms each of these four R&B hits and switches them in to polar opposites, showcasing superb production talent as well as remix skills, making these songs totally unrecognizable except for the fact that they vocals give it away.
