Another track taken from their collaborative album ‘Taking Control’ out on 2nd November, producer Z-Dot and MC Eyez released a new track called ‘Take A Seat’. The track is Hip Hop production, Z-Dot producing a bassy, rock beat pattern, with a Jazz/Blues influence on the melody, bringing a West Coast vibe in my opinion. Eyez spits fast-paced, energetic flows, rhyming about taking control of his own dreams and destiny, having no reason not to blow, leaving behind those who are not on his level, or are holding him back, not settling for sitting back and waiting for success, keeping creative minds around him, and making chances work for him. This a positive, short and quick, but to the point track from Eyez and Z-Dot, a blend of top-notch production and superior rhyming, slick from beginning to end.
