Z Dot teams up with fellow producer Krunchie on a new Grime/EDM banger taken from the Z Dot’s Zone 2 EP. The track entitled Square Head, uses a sort of square saw bass, jagged in sound, featuring soft keys and pulsating melodies throughout, The pair employ intricate percussion splitting the instrumental into sections, flitting between a sort of Garage/Bassline House rhythm and a 4×4 pattern, cutting out the percussion in parts. Square Head has a dark bass line riff, but the melody and skippy percussion keep the instrumental funky and light, a feat that is sure to fill dancefloors and get heads nodding wherever they hear the track.
