Scratchy Demus is back! Scratchy releases the video for his first new single as a solo artist, and having been working Wiley a bag of new tunes, he kicks off the assault on the clubs and airwaves with ‘Personal’, which samples Danny Weed’s classic old school banger of a production, Creeper. Scratchy unloads on this grimy yet trapesque beat, spraying energetic bars as he throws kicks at punches at a scene that has it’s share of mediocre mc’s, and Scratch warns against making it personal. From way back when he smashed the original riddim on many a set with Roll Deep over a decade ago, Scratchy blesses this beat that DJ’s like Slimzee have spun recently. Scratchy delivers with his distinctive and unique style, displaying brilliant wordplay skills and dropping some outrageous one liners.
