‘Revolution of the Mind’ is the new single from Stockholm based urban soul rock collective Frank Ernest, consisting of Chak la Rock (lead vocals), Nebojsa ‘Neb Malicious’ Grujic (bass guitar), Stefan ‘Grooveya’ Grujic (lead guitar) and drummer Clemons ‘C1’ Mårtensson (drums). Taken from their debut album ‘One Time for the Mind’, released back in September this year on Spotify, iTunes and more, the song is made up of a heavy bass line and funky guitars, and melodic vocals and conscious raps, which highlights the band’s many influences from rock to soul to even 80s synth sounds and samples. This song lyrically is about revolting against the injustices of the government and law enforcements, something that may seem justified in light of the situations and events that the lead vocalist sings about.

‘Revolution of the Mind’ is taken from an ‘extraordinary album from a special band’, who bring ‘no gimmicks, no pretenses’ to the table except a ‘refreshing concept of being yourself, just as you are’. This a truly remarkable single from the band, the type that is needed at this particular time in the world, and is catchy too.
