Australian emcee OptimYstic has recently unveiled a new music video for ‘Madd Rush’, featuring Onyx and JR, which was shot down under in Australia. The song is taken from his double album “Day of the Guiding Light / Followed by the Shadow”. OptiMystic has been spreading his vibes, raw love and hardcore positivity, across the globe with his music, epitomising what Hip Hop is all about. OptiMystic has a passion and extreme addiction to the art of rap, as evident in his music, and in 2005 he released his debut “Revamp”, an independent release that featured Grammy award-winning superstar Speech from Arrested Development.

‘Madd Rush’ is a dark and twisted horrorcore fusion of Rock and Hip Hop, with all emcee’s spitting some wicked nightmarish lyrics, displaying deadly lyrical ability and killer flows to bring terror to the competition. Straight spitting venom on a Loftwah Beatsmiff production, they all go in for the kill in the name of Rap music.

“Day of the Guiding Light / Followed by the Shadow” is the new album from OptiMystic which features strictly Hip Hop across the whole of the double album. OptiMystic “spits, rips and kicks a range of flows with variety and passion”, and he is joined by some of Hip Hop’s finest emcee’s including Sticky Fingaz, Fredro Starr, Afu Ra, Chip FU, Doitall, Mr Cheeks, Killah Priest, Das EFX, Rockness Monsta, Big Shug, Jeru the Damaja & more!

The video is quite literally a blazing, fire visual, featuring UK’s fire spitting bad girls Pyrohex, with added heat from C.O.P Krump Movement and Bertie Beetle who lend their energy to the video. There is also help from Blazing Swan, Wild Knights Party Bus, Galactix Studio and many more, to create a “fire spittin, flame throwing, bus party jumping, spliff blazin, hard body krumping mad max looking killa video!!”
