Franko Fraize – Lines ft. Great Skies
Thoroughly British lad and Hip Hop artist Franko Fraize returned last week with a brand new music video and track for ‘Lines’ featuring Great Skies on production. The production takes you back to the days of the old school garage raves, with influences from UKG, Hip Hop and Electronic. The melodic, pulsing and ambient track complements the night-life and blurred lines of London city’s skylines and high roads. A rather reminiscent Franko Fraize provides the narrative to the visuals, spinning a story of days gone, riding his bike and chilling in his local chicken shop, and coming home with scuffs on your knees from the kick about. Nowadays it is all raving with loved ones and dealing with aggro, cutting shapes until the night is a blur. Franko Fraize’s vocal delivery, reminiscent to that of The Streets and Mike Skinner, is refreshing for the music scene let alone the UK Hip Hop scene, and whose music has made him a “voice for the everyday”, rhyming about everyday life from his typically British perspective. Check out the mesmerising visuals and listen to the song and leave us your feedback in the comments section below.
