Tayfun takes it back to his roots with the visuals, filmed in a scenic location in Turkey, and the song gives you an insight in to the family dynamic between himself and his father. Once again, Tayfun draws from his culture and heritage, pouring honesty and emotion in to his music for a rather upfront reflection of his relationship with his father and his upbringing. Speaking on the song, Tayfun says, “The song is about the lessons that I learnt from my father growing up. It’s about his Success, his regrets and his hopes for the family legacy.”
SLVNG MAJOR is on production again for this melodious, piano-led, trap-influenced heavy rap beat, which is accompanied by the Saz Guitar. Combining cultural elements of both Western and Eastern musical influences, Tayfun creates a hybrid sound that is refreshing for both music lovers, rap fans in the UK, and anyone looking at Tayfun’s culture from the outside.
