London R&B Singer Allana Verde unveils a music video for ‘Bad Side’, taken from the Broken Record EP, released earlier this month. American online/print magazine The Hype Magazine premiered the video on Friday last, and is a fun and vibrant visual that sees Allana living free in the breeze, taking a trip to the pier, arcades, and cruising in her car. The video cuts between Allana living wild and having fun, whilst switching to her more mischievous, bad side.
The song showcases Allana’s unique flavour and ability to connect, as she addresses a breakup and how she dealt with it, threatening her ex with her bad side. An awesome song that will have you hitting that repeat button, the single has flashes of 80’s pop that is merged with R&B classics, sitting on an undercurrent of fresh synths and current styles to draw your ear straight in to the record.
The first of a 4-track collection, the Broken Record EP is an honest, pain-riddled account of the end, and aftermath, of a tumultuous relationship. The records are set to take the listener on a journey, which documents everything from the heartbreak through to regaining personal confidence and empowerment.
