Upon his return from a hiatus from the game, North West London’s DPart follows up the last release, ‘Workrate’, with a brand new one produced by Alive, called ‘Long Time Coming’. DPart flows effortlessly and fluently over the up-tempo, melodic, electronic grime-come-trap production, and he brings lyrics in abundance. An anthemic, perhaps even motivational song, DPart states his intentions and warns of his imminent rise in the scene, stressing that it is long overdue. This is not only catchy but DPart is armed with terrific, breath-taking flows and intricate lyrical prowess, and that is a combination that is lacking in the music scene right now.
