Dubstep producer Coffi returs with another beast of a track entitled Gangstar Pups. The track starts off with a plinky plonky melody, dark brooding brass horns and a sample from Goodfella’s setting the mood for an ironically “funny” drop. Coffi goes for a more minimal sound on this tune. With a filtered bass, synthed to unimaginable patterns and constantly changing throughout the song, Coffi uses an understated beat, rather low key, mellow and with the hi hats almost more prominent than the kicks. This track is all about the bass and the intricate sfx Coffi expertly cuts in the the beat. Another banger from one of the best producers around. Big tune. Big bass!
