Party animal is a club/chart smash in the making, with Ghetts and Kano using their hard edged grime flows, styles and lyrical styles to lace the beat with the animalistic party vibes. Both mc’s go in, clearly having fun with the rock style backing track, proving their versatility and ability to make big hits for a wider commercial audience. Singer MYKL kills it on the chorus, sounding like Justin Timberlake and balancing out the bad bwoi rapper swagger from Ghetts & Kano with sweet, soulful vocals. This is certainly a step away from their usual sound, but Ghetts and Kano have managed to pull off an impressive feat and make a tune that would go down well at carnival, festival or rave. Big tune!
