JD rolls through the beat with ease, laying down rapidly delivered bars on the beat, juggling the flow, and going in with an onslaught of solid lines, speaking on bringing out his darker side for the haters, slewing the competition, and expressing his desire to be who ever he wants to be, doing the music thing properly. JD is one of the few lyrically gifted Grime artists that help towards putting the notion to rest that Grime doesn’t have the lyrical substance that Hip Hop does.
