Filmed in Leeds, this Grime Clash from Words Are Weapons was between Leeds-based MC Crawler and Future from Huddersfield. Crawler kicked off the clash, possessing a hype delivery, going ham, fully not rating Future at all, claiming that he and his team are unknown, ripping in to him and his girl, with talk of std’s. Both artists seemed to be gunning for it, Future also giving it his all, putting his own accusations out there, from saying Crawler is a drug addict, and questioning Crawler’s capability of winning the clash. Towards the end of round 1, both really went for it, Crawler gaining a wheel-up with mention of Future having a girl who needs botox, going in with the punchlines and similes. Future starts off round 2 like he means to go on, with ferocious delivery, not quite there until he drops a one liner about Crawler drawing a fat chick, Crawler being merked for sure in round 2 in my opinion, being accused of having his head up his rear, talking shit! Crawler does redeem himself when he goes again for a second time with some nice wordplay ending with him claiming Future to have a woman with a mono brow. Once again, in round 3, Future goes for the bars aimed at Crawler’s girlfriend, dropping dirty bars to embarrass Crawler, who in turn tears the place down with sick flow and delivery alone, Future getting the last laugh by claiming Crawler’s wifey to be loose. I think Future edged the win there, in my opinion it was a close clash at times, Crawler was superb either way. Check out the clash and leave us your feedback in the comments section below . . .
