Rame is a 26 year old Grime MC originally hailing from Nottingham, East Midlands but now resides in Alfreton, Derbyshire. Combining razor-sharp flows with dynamic lyrics, he has a gritty yet refined sound.
Rame’s love for Grime & Hip Hop started at a young age. Initially inspired by artists such as Crazy Titch, Dizzee Rascal, Escobar, Ghetts, Jay-Z, Kano, Nas, The Game & Wiley, his appreciation for the genres would eventually lead to him creating music of his own. He started to make Grime and Hip Hop at 15 Years Old.

Rame has fast become a well-known emcee in the Nottingham and East Mids music scene in the last decade. Having originated from Nottingham, he has collaborated with some of the most talented artists and producers around the city and beyond.
Initially Rhymes Galore, Rame is one of the founders of the Setting Pace collective created in 2015, consisting of himself and frequent collaborators ADeeks, BDizzle, DJ Dima, Driftz, Fate, Finchie, Kronzy (Producer), Monsta, Scheme & Sneekz. A versatile crew but specialising in Grime and Bass music.

2017 started off with a bang for Rame, extending his impressive resume of music which already includes ‘Slangage’ produced by Drime, and ‘Causing Damage’, featuring Koxe, Snoopa, Logan, Kontagious & Jack Fitz. He released the ‘Napalm Flows The Remixes’ EP, featuring remixes from Chemist RNS and Kronzy and much more. More recently, Rame dropped the Dubzta-produced ‘Nxng’ to massive acclaim.

Rame has performed across the country at a wide range of venues, and his presence has been felt with live performances on Silk City, Kemet FM, Local Motive, Radar Radio, Mode FM, Hot 92 and many more. In 2016, he and DJ Dima also founded Who’s Setting Pace Radio?, an online radio station, a mix and blend radio show intended to play the freshest and up and coming talent in the UK, where special guests regularly dropped in. 2017 has also been the birth year of Rame’s own record label and clothing line East Mids Repper (EMR).
