Over the last few years, 18 year old Cassie Rytz has been consistently building her influence within the music scene, and despite her young age, she has solidified her spot in the scene as one of the leaders of the new generation in Grime. Brimming with energetic flows and a radiant personality, Cassie Rytz has also has an impressive catalogue of previous work and accolades, providing her the ideal platform for the release of her debut EP ‘R.U.D.E’.

‘R.U.D.E’ is a 6 track collection of Cassie’s best work, showcasing her capabilities for making a top class Grime track, compiling a project of hits infused with her own unique flavour across each and every track. Cassie provides powerful, heart-felt content that is synonymous with her musical style. ‘Fe Freestyle’ is a homage to the nostalgic Grime sound, evoking memories of the pirate radio era. Cassie rapidly decimates the heavyweight production with deep topics that explore her family relationships and what it means for her and the life she lives. ‘Get Dark’ reveals the darker, sinister side that lurks in Cassie Rytz, and inside all of us for that matter. As energetic and dynamic as ever, her sharp vocals pierce through the menacing Grime instrumental, complimenting each other well. This track serves as a caution to her competition and foes alike, who aren’t reaching her levels, of the devastation she can cause with the pen. ‘I Did It’ blends Drill and Grime for a hybrid banger, packed with forceful 808s, dominant percussion and addictive backing melodies. Cassie delivers an infectious chorus and mezmerizing verses, displaying her ability to make music for any crowd to mosh to. ‘Lean and Vibe’ is a club banger, that infuses elements of Dancehall flavours, with Cassie jumping on the riddim with a Grime flow and excellent patois. She effortlessly rides the wave of the heavyweight production, further proving her status as a force to be reckoned with.

For her young age, Cassie Rytz has already accomplished so much, and has become a regular on some of the most recognized radio stations in London including Reprezent Radio and Rinse FM. She is also a member of the ‘Girls Of Grime’ collective, performing at various venues across the capital, such as the exclusive Boxpark as well as studio sessions for Grime DJ and veteran of the scene, Sir Spyro, on BBC Radio 1Xtra. As well as being heavily involved in the music world, Cassie is passionate about helping her community, as proven when she spoke in the House Of Parliament on youth support in local communities and how it can be bettered. Recently, Cassie Rytz was cast in the all-female BBC Three Grime documentary ‘Galdem Sugar’, which stands as a testament to her rise in a most exciting career so far. ‘R.U.D.E’ is a monumental moment in Cassie’s career, going down as an undoubted modern Grime classic.
