Super talented producer, rapper and all round musician Wize releases his epic remix of Destiny’s Child smash hit Cater 2 U. Originally remixed for his girlfriend, the production maestro slash Romeo, thankfully chose to put the audio out via his official soundcloud for free download. The results are delightfully, blissfully and wonderfully fantastic trap style mash up of an RnB classic. Wize adds new melody to the trap style drum percussion, with a sweet floaty piano riff, light strings and some dreamy keys, contrasting the deep bassy undertones. Chopping and skewing the vocals with precision, re arranging the chorus to sound completely different than the original and picking out some choice lines from the song as a romantic gesture for his loved one. The detuned vocals in places sound almost dark and hauntingly beautiful, Wize certainly knows how to mix up the genre’s, expressing himself as intelligently as he does in his lyrics..
