Don’t Flop release a fiercely contested two on two battle video featuring Arkaic & Skirmish VS Cee Major & Cracker, taken from the recent Set The Standards event. In a battle filled with venom from both parties, the victors in our opinion were Arkaic & Skirmish, probably due to their tactic of trying to divide and conquer. Focusing mainly on Cracker and his weaknesses (face/hair/genetic make up), Ark and Skirms picked up most points throughout round 1 and 2. Cracker bit back harder in round 2, with the Arkaic running away, fleeing from Dizazter angles and Cee Major linking up superbly with his partner in rhyme as always, but not really standing out like he usually does. Skirmish making his debut in the two on two’s, really started to shine in round 3, with an crazy bar about Cee Major only converting his religion for a “Bird”, proving to be a worthy partner for Arkaic, with styles that compliment each other well. Just as the balance was starting to swing in Cracker and Cee major’s favour, Ark and Skirm stepped it up again, getting very personal towards both their opponents, the religion schemes were brutal. Still a surprise in store in Cracker and Cee’s 3^rd as the pair embarked on a hilarious scheme aimed at Arkaic’s “disrespect” for his lover and Don’t Flop presenter Steph, culminating in Cracker taking a leaf from Mos Probs’ book, only fake proposing at the end. A funny, yet furious battle, showcasing skills from 4 of the UK’s top rap talents. Close, but Arkaic and Skirmish had this 2-1 or maybe a flattering 3-0. Good clash.
