J Fresh and Brakeman link up on this latest tune, ‘Ring The Alarm’, a punchy, bass-heavy grime banger produced by J Fresh. Brakeman, from South London, takes to the up-tempo producky with a lyrical assault, serving up a plethora of dangerous bars and flows, with aggressive delivery, boasting about his skill and accomplishments. This one will pop off with raves and festivals, and is also infectious and catchy for the crowds to sing along to.

Brakeman and J Fresh are somewhat seen as Grime legends in their own right, with Brakeman having appeared on Lord of the Mics 2 early in his career, and having featured on FIFA 21 single ‘Top Cat’. He has established himself in both the Grime and Dubstep scenes, working with Footsie and D Double E on ‘Bang Boy’, from Newham Generals’ last album. His own work includes ‘What You Working With’ EP and joint EP ‘Keep It Whippin” along with Footsie. He now owns his own independent label Jus Kno Recordings.

Starting out as a DJ, J Fresh has transitioned into production with a body of work that includes album ‘Fruit Salad’, ‘Juice’and EP’s ‘Pineapple’ and ‘Banana’, and tracks featuring the likes of Godsgift & Monkstar (‘Tryna Get By’), Maxwell D & Plague (‘Pablo’), Madders Tiff (‘Oh My’), Predz UK (‘Lock Down’ and ‘My Gang’) plus many more. J Fresh has DJ’d on BBC Radio 1Xtra, KISS FM, as well as currently residing on Pyro Radio. He has played internationally, opening for the likes of D Double E, Estelle, French Montana, Giggs, Skepta, Snoop Dogg, Wiley and many more. He is a 3x OMA ‘Best Mixtape DJ’ nominee, and has exclusively interviewed Craig David, Keri Hilson, Krept & Konan, Wiz Khalifa, YG and many more.
