Fresh off the back of his recent LL Cool J EP, J2k releases a brand new video “Money”, via GRM Daily, taken from the movie ‘It’s Alot’ out on the 25th of October. Money is and anthem for those getting it in or not in some cases, and translates well as a comedic soundtrack or totally serious boastin riddim for the clubs. J2K drops his skippy flows over a bassy, minimal percussion, sfx laden instru, spitting witty punchlines throughout. The chorus is a hypnotic, sometimes dark sounding anthemic chant, which works well with the backing track, providing the quintessentially Urban-esque Brittish vibe that accompanies films like “It’s Alot”.The track is a beast, serving as a great soundtrack and reminds us of J2K’s integral part in UK Urban music and culture.
