DJ/Producer Jinksy took to his soundcloud recently to release a brand new dub, his own remix of Mood ll Swing’s ‘Closer’. Jinksy’s edit is a club house banger of a production, Jinksy setting up the vibe with a funky beat, and snares and hats, throwing in bits of samples from the original track, eventually coming to the break in which Jinksy adds a jabbing organ type instrument, giving the whole track an uplifting vibe and injecting more of a House feel to the production. Towards the end, Jinksy switches it up once again, turning the organ melody in to a synth, keeping the listeners on their toes, and mixing it up a bit in an intriguing, and top-notch edit.
