Grime collective Ogz reform once again for a brand new track taken from Blacks’ forthcoming Sick Individual 2 called “Top Boy 2”, featuring fellow Ogz P Money and Little Dee. It’s a 16 bar hype with this Grimey Trap banger which starts off as an old skool Garage vibe and kicking into a heavyweight jabbing melody with an underlying bassline. P Money kicks proceedings off by peppering the beat with bars that express his current status in the game, tearing down raves, getting bookings abroad and getting the perks such as women, vip status in the bars etc. Blacks takes swipes at those who are only known in Britain compared to his international status, and letting you know that he and his crew are still around, and still as ferocious as ever. Little Dee is up last, rhyming fantastically, dropping a few nice punchlines, speaking of having to fly out abroad so often as part of his job, drinking champagne and buying out designer shops. The cheeky and confident delivery resonates with all three MC’s, culminating on the hook, a simple but effective chorus delivered in one-liner fashion at a high point of the production.
