The Bar Staff’s Parv recently dropped a brand new track via soundcloud called “The Altar” which samples Austra’s “Lose It” and is an epic production with a massive hook from Parv which is quite positive and uplifting, depicting Parv’s strive to aim for the stars, fighting to the top where he would have the glory and respect. Parv rhymes incredibly, painting pictures with intricate lyricism, dropping a lot of wise words, with the purpose of showcasing his urge to keep the hope. Parv also rhymes about hanging your hopes on receiving a call from labels, and whilst things don’t go the way as planned, Parv continues to make hits, making real music and build his own future. “The Altar” hopefully influences a lot of people to stay hopeful, and push towards their dreams, staying positive throughout the negativity which is how I interpret this song.
