Manchester’s RIO is set to take the radio airwaves by storm with his latest single “HIDEOUT”, due for release on 18^th May. RIO’s latest music video for said track features UK Top 10 artist L Marshall and UK No. 1 producer Rymez for this ultra-bass Trap banger. The lyricism by RIO depicts a fighting attitude from him, having been in the industry for so longer, he is tired of going with no recognition, so he is metaphorically smashing through. L Marshall provides a powerful chorus, and with RIO’s infectious flow and his swagger in terms of singing, reminds me of the likes of Tinie Tempah and Labrinth on “Pass Out”, only better, with a more relatable message, and could certainly be as successful. The visuals are professionally shot in a studio, with a live band playing along as RIO performs. The video is electrifying and as epic as the Earthquake video by Tinie Tempah for instance. This track has already seen the likes of Twin B, DJ Target and Cameo, all of BBC Radio 1Xtra get behind it, so it seems there is much success for RIO this year.
