UK Pop Singer/Songwriter and Producer Rivita, born in New Delhi, India, has finally unveiled her new single ‘Listen’ along with a music video directed and edited by herself, starring The Mahamaya Group of Fusion Dance, with the Dance concept by Ritika Dhar. The track from Rivita comes in the light of the attacks taking place all around the world, and is a plea from her to move forward and initiate peace, exemplified by the song’s lyrics, “Put down your guns, aim higher”, a strong message that unfortunately has to be said over and over again from artists before her. Rivita provides haunting vocals, delivered with conviction, on the dark and ambient, electronic production. Rivita’s style is enriched with harmony and showcases her signature Eastern sound. The symbolic imagery of the video juxtaposes faces of people from all over the world with symbolic shots of violence, shattering objects and blazing fires for instance.
