Squintz continues to release visuals to go hand in hand with his debut project, that was recently released, ‘Nuen Ain’t Gang’. ‘Dem Man’ is the fourth visual to be released in conjunction with ‘NAG’ in the last few weeks. The track features Boy Better Know’s Grime emcee, producer, and Lord of the Mics head honcho, Jammer, and enthralling West London Grime emcee Scrufizzer.

‘Dem Man’ is a fun vibe, with producer Jack Marlow capturing the essence of summertime with a bouncy, infectious riddim, containing elements of Drill, Garage and Grime. The video is shot by Cunch Mag, and mirrors the music, Squintz and co chilling on the block, flexing and enjoying the results of their work and success. ‘Dem Man’ has an old school Grime feel to it, from the production down to Squintz in his Avirex jacket. This is one for the girls just as much as it is for the guys.

‘Dem Man’, just like ‘Nuen Ain’t Gang’, carries on telling Squintz’ truth, through his own experiences and reflecting his life coming from a concrete city. The project as a whole is as pure a Grime project as you are likely to hear so far this year, and catches the essence of urban culture, especially the Grime culture, in LDN. Weaved throughout ‘Nuen Ain’t Gang’ is Squintz’ demonstration that it’s okay to be yourself when coming from the same environment.
