Subten links up with fellow North London emcee’s Double S and Capo Lee for new single ‘Mazza’, taken from his new EP “Remember”. The trio, all former members of Grime collective Shoddy Crew, take to a production by Limitless which is rich in grime vibes, consisting of a skippy beat pattern, bassline and organs. The up-tempo beat is the foundation for the three emcee’s deliver some slick wordplay and energetic, skippy flows, even one line flows from the Flow Farda, on a track that brings back the old school grime feel and displays the talents of the trio that are on another level to the competition in the scene. Check out the visuals directed by Dun D and Bdot, filmed around Subten’s local estate and featuring quick moving shots showing the emcee’s and their boys in lip-synced shots.
